In WW2,
Longendale valley was a training area for the RAF and many wreckages of planes
litter the moorland. However, on various occasions these old war planes have
been sighted flying once again. The witnesses all say that just as they look
like they’re about to crash they vanish into thin air. These planes have been
named The Phantom Bombers of the High Peak.
